Tasty Treats

Need a tasty place to find some good food?  Try these places:

Simply Thai

I admit I don’t like noodles and so most Thai food doesn’t appeal to me, but I love yellow curry.  It’s how I evaluate a Thai restaurant — do they even serve yellow curry, and if they do, how good is it?  Everyone else I’ve been here with has enjoyed what they had.  Plus the people are extremely nice.

You’ll find Simply Thai at 2470 N US Highway 67  Florissant, MO 63033.  Their website is currently under construction, but you can find them on Facebook.  Closed Tuesdays.  The same folks also operate the Pearl Cafe just down the street at 8416 N Lindbergh Blvd, Florissant, MO 63031.  The Pearl Cafe is closed on Sundays.

Spice N Grill

Everything I’ve had here has been wonderful.  Try the beef nihari, a Pakistani staple.  Zahid Khan and his wife Shaheena will make you feel like family.  The restaurant is at 6800 Olive Blvd, St Louis, MO 63130.  This restaurant doesn’t have a website but you can find them on Facebook. Closed Mondays.

Queen of Sheba

An Eritrean restaurant located at 6665 Olive Blvd St. Louis, MO 63130, not far from Spice N Grill.   You can’t go wrong with the key wot, lega tibs, or, well, with any of the dishes offered.  Now offering lunch.  Closed Mondays.

A prize for those who like Indian food.  Located at 9720 Page Avenue St.Louis, MO 63132.  The lunch buffet is reasonably priced and has a variety of dishes.  They also make great samosas!  They do have a website.  Closed Mondays.
