Fort Worth On my adventures in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, I got to go to all sorts of places with my host Christine. But I also got to travel for a few days with another host, Fleur. And I met these cats (who I have heard are rat-eaters!), Gideon and Seth. Fortunately, instead of eating me, they sniffed me and let me sit on them. They are very soft. Gideon, the grey one, takes pictures with rats and has even won some contests! |

| I also got to play in the garden. These are pansies. They come in all manner of wonderful colors, but they only grow here in the winter. My host said they would all be dead soon, but that she would put more out when it got cold again. It was a little sad to think of them dying, but it was fun to play in them. Plus, I found out there are real rats living in the bushes! |

| Other creatuers similar to rats, like squirrels, also live in Fleur's yard. This is a squirrel feeder where some of them come daily to get breakfast. |

| When I was finished playing in the flowers and with the squirrel feeder, I went back inside and discovered all these soft toys that my host has. Some of them are rats! Aren't they cute? |

But look at all the teddy bears! Can you find me among them? The bears say this is a little crowded but since the temperature is kept pleasant and they are dusted regularly, they don't mind. |

I
also got to go to work with my host. She talks to people who are
having bad days and sends help - police, firefighters, or an
ambulance. She let me try it for a while and I spoke to a person
who had a break-in and another who was frightened because she heard
someone in her back yard. I thought it was probably a squirrel! I did a lot in my three days with Fleur! Now on to my next adventure. |
