| Elizabeth Cady Stanton drafted the Declaration of Sentiments signed by many notable people. Here at the Women's Rights National Park, the Declaration has been carved into this monument. |

| This statue depicts the first meeting of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony with Amelia Bloomer providing the introduction. Mrs. Stanton and Miss Anthony went on to become great friends and worked together to further the cause of women's rights. You may know that Miss Anthony also appeared on an American coin in the late 20th century. |

| Here I am in front of the Elizabeth Cady Stanton House. Unfortunately, the house is much changed from when she lived here - it's about half the size. While most people put additions on their homes, successive owners have actually town down sections of this house. Today, two entire wings are gone. |

Although the Erie Canal is the most famous canal in New York, there are several others. I was lucky enough to see a lock in action on the Cayuga-Seneca Canal. Here's a house boat that has just entered the lock. |
