Toronto Then I visited yet another country - Canada. Canada is the second-largest country in the world (Russia being the first). The United States and Canada share what is often referred to as the longest undefended border in the world. Actually, the border is defended, but by law enforcement, not military personnel. The shared border stretches across 5,525 miles. Over 90% of the population of Canada lives within 100 miles of this border. Here we are at the border waiting to enter Canada. The signs here are in English and French. |

| We crossed the border without difficulty and headed toward Toronto, which is in the Canadian province of Ontario. Since it was almost lunchtime went straight to Greektown. The street signs are in Greek as well as English and I saw lots of Greek flags. The movie My big Fat Greek Wedding was filmed here. |

| As we were walking around Greektown, I saw this shop and had to take a photo. It's hard to read, but it says "Alex Farm Products, Adventures in Cheese." |

We also visited Kensington Market. We parked in a parking garage where the different levels were named for different foods. Look what level we happened to park on! The Cheese level! Oh, that was so great. |

| This is Toronto's Chinatown. It is an amazing place. The Chinese are one of Toronto's largest ethnic communities. In fact, there are now six Chinatowns in the Toronto area. So I should say that this is only one of Toronto's Chinatowns. |

| Look at all the fascinating fruits for sale here. There are longan, dragon fruit, rambutan, lychee, and durian in this photo. I'd love to take some home, but it's illegal to bring fruit across the border. |

| I'm on a Vespa! Too bad I couldn't explore Toronto on it. Unfortunately, our time in the city had come to an end. I hope I can come back; there's so much more to see and do here. |
